As our beginnings were very humble, we had no idea of the magnitude of impact that we had brought to Lancaster County, PA.
Starting out from a customized trike serving up 6-12 flavors of authentic gelati and sorbetti, we loaded up our bike and headed out for the Lititz Spring's 4th of July Celebrations. It took a few samples but after the first try customers loved it.
After a summer of nonstop lines in front of our bike and countless orders placed, we decided this product needed to hit the shelves, to be sold all year around. In December 2007, Gelato Di Babbo debuted our line to supermarkets with 6 flavors. Two years later, we now have over 15 flavors including diabetic and goats milk.
